Excelsior Farm is a small certified organic farm just outside Eugene, Oregon that grows more than 100 varieties of fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers on less than 2 acres

For over three years Jeremy and Ashli have run Excelsior Farm together growing great food for the local community.

Jeremy has been doing gardening and farming work for more than 10 years. Several years after coming to Oregon he started a small market garden business in the Whiteaker neighborhood of Eugene where he grew for CSA members and a local food co-op. During this time he met his future wife Ashli whom he wooed with songs and beautiful fruits and vegetables.

Ashli grew up in Portland, Oregon and met Jeremy while going to college in Eugene. She then spent a year teaching youngsters at an elementary school and finished her education in New York before settling down to farm.

Ashli is the author of the farm’s weekly blog, The Excelsior Farm Chronicle, and cooks wonderful food in all seasons.

With their first child on the way Jeremy and Ashli are thinking about the future and trying to build a good farm business to support their family, while growing excellent food for their local community.

The farm provides abundantly for the Excelsior Restaurant, other local businesses, farmers market customers, and all our CSA members.

Our farm exists for the health of our family, land, and neighbors.

This would propel our farm business forward by allowing us to accomplish more with the time we have. All of the planned purchases and projects listed have an immediate return on investment, making our business more sustainable and minimizing wear and tear on us, the farmers.
