About the project

Hi

I have been in the coffee industry for 15 years and previously helped build a coffee supply, espresso machine and service company from scratch which is now a large leading supply company, I was the general manager of this company from the start. I have now left this business.  

This is my new venture and my new baby and I am 100% fully commited to growing and building this new company. I am taking this in a different direction only the finest quality speciality grade coffees will be chosen and roasted. All coffee will be ethically sourced and the growers and producers will get a fair price.

The focus will be more on the quality of the green coffee, the care of the roast, the barista training and also a consultancy service for customers wanting to open there own coffee shops. I have worked in every role within the first company from accounts, delivery, service, barista training, cuppping, blending, roasting, sourcing and buying every other type of product to go with coffee including tea, hot chocolate, syrups, cups and much more.

The money will be used to buy a new bigger coffee roaster and help with costs and hiring more staff. The aim is to have a fully operational micro coffee roasting facility with training facility and a fully open and functioning coffee shop to show case all the coffees we will be roasting which we will be supplying to wholesale and retail customers a like. Fresh retail coffee and home brew equipment will be on offer to purchase and we will also be supplying the equipment we use on site including the coffee machines and grinders etc

The business is well underway already and a new web site is under construction these extra funds will help push the final few pieces into place and also help when we move into bigger premises.

All orders will be sent out before Christmas so they will make perfect gifts for xmas time. 

Finally this will create 5 new jobs and I envisage this rising to 10 within a short space of time. I will also pay at least the minimum living wage to everyone and add a profit share scheme into the business.
